It was May 9th in good ol Chicago and it was chilly. Damn it all that it had to be chilly on a saturday that I decide to go to my first Anime Central Convention. Anyways the sun showed its face and it wasn't that bad. Scoob, Randy and I all met up and took the good ol public transportation to Acen. With little sleep and money we all were ready for the day. 

Anime Central was being held at the Stephens Convention Center and Hyatt Hotel in Rosemont IL, a suburb of Chicago near O'Hare Airport. I've been there the year before when I first attended Wizard World with Carol, LP and friends. So i knew the joint and knew how to get there. Once we got there we had to wait in one hell of a line to get our badges. We had the option of naming our badges. I of course picked "Naztradamix". Scoob picked "Deadpool" as what he wanted his badge name and Randy came up with Tom Cruise but I said Kruise with a K but even better, Kruz. Randy was "Tom Kruz" for the entire day at Anime Central ^_^. 

Once there we walked around, looked at cosplayer (I fell in love with an Avatar cosplayer and FF cosplayer) and checked out the goods. We dont really know much about artist or voice over actors so those attractions didn't matter to us. I know, we're lame. Scoob got some goodies, Randy got a plush Mario for his moms and I didn't get anything, a nigga is broke. 

Now I never go anywhere expecting to be noticed. I'm just a normal nobody. Yea I know right? Me the Great Naztradamix a nobody? What is up with that? I dont know my dear Cyber Goonz. Yet there we were in line waiting and BOOM some kid dressed as Akuma came to us and asked for picture. We had no idea what he was doing at first but realized he was talking to us and noticed us. Then he praised us nicely and walked away, lol. That was funny because fans have always introduced themselves, told their stories of how they got introduced to our videos and then talk some more chillen for a moment before moving on. This isn't the last time we met Akuma tho. Later that day he becomes our guide to the Hotel where the rest of the convention is held. Good ol Akuma, i dont know what people are saying. He's a pretty good guy in our opinion. Akuma wasn't the only one tho cuz later three kids spotted us and asked for pictures and then walked on away. We were starting to feel like everyone was afraid of us, lol. 

In 2006 we were guest at a local convention called The Reactor. The man who got us as guest was named Randall. Ever since Reactor Randall as always kept in touch with me. In 2007 and 08 he worked at ACen and wanted us to come thru. Well this year I finally did and he bumped into us while there. He would later get us to meet ScrewAttack who I'm sure you Cyber Goonz know. You guys are probably G1ers yourselves. If you dont know what G1 is then guess you dont know who ScrewAttack is afterall. Either way we met them at their hotel room and was interviewed. For the rest of the night we were chilling with ScrewAttack and Randall till 4am. What a day. 

Soo many things happened. While chillen in the hotel room Randy took the bathrobe and wore it for a good majority of the night. ScrewAttack thought it'll be funny if he went around with the robe talking to ladies. So we did that but it ended up being Scoob talking to the ladies while Randy just looked at them giving them his sexy aura. While they did that I was noticed by another fan. This one was different than the others. Tho Akuma did take us around and we talked he didn't do that the first time. The one that noticed me this time was cosplaying as L (there was alot of fucking L cosplayers) and he was a coo cat. I had him tag along with us to the game room where we chilled for a while. Once we left the room I told him it was coo meeting him, shook his hand and went to follow the rest of my party. 

Many men cosplayed as females. You know good looking ass females dress up like our anime male heros. Should men dress up as our female heroines? NO!!!!!!!!!!. Least look good. Some ugly mutha fuckas. 

Our first attempt at getting into the Rave party failed. This rave party had a line that stretched down the side of the hotel, into the parking lot and out of it. ScrewAttack tried to get us in but they wouldn't budge. We needed Randall to do so. While walking back I told Chad from ScrewAttack we should act like we just got out the rave and had one hell of a time. I was screaming "MAN THAT WAS THE SHIT, DID YOU SEE THAT CHICK WHO HAD THE GLOWSTICK UP HER ASS!" and the rest of the party started shouting out other stuff. Someone mentioned exstacy and right after that some dude in a skeleton costume or watnot whispered at Chad offering him drugs. Chad refused and homeboy was like "cool" and walked away. He was telling me what happened seconds later because I didn't notice it. Crazy shit. lol

There could be lots of shit I can say about the night. Like Randall getting us in through the backstage to the Rave party. Getting into the VIP room. Being introduced by Randall and ScrewAttack as the Juggernaut Bitch guys and getting praised by the ones we were being introduced to. Hell Randy even signed some dudes staff badge. One kid in the game room was told we were [MyWay] and he began to talk to me about a dub he did. I forgot what it was but he told me it was inspired by us. Oh it was a transformer dub. Had megatron saying "I'm Megatron Bitch!". You know how it is. This kid looked like J.J. from Goodtimes let me tell ya. lol.

It was a long and interesting day. I enjoyed it all and glad I had Scoob come this time cuz he missed out on Reactor and Wizard World. I wish I could of had everyone else but maybe next time that can happen.
